Walk through the sliding glass doors onto porch, which is railed, you get kind of a tree house effect, with the creek right below! There is a small pick-nick table, 4 stools, glider swing, 2 rockers and BBQ grill! Pet Friendly! You are engulfed in the presence of nature. With the moss covered rocks and sound of the creek taking front stage. With the mature forest around you. Located on 10 acres, 17 miles NE of Gatlinburg, in a little community called Cosby. Cabin has been updated with a faux stone fireplace with a flat screen TV that sits atop the faux wood mantel. The desk and older TV has been removed! Well suited for 2-4 people & your pets. We have a private road that circles the property that you can walk around, through the woods, garden area or down by the creek with pick nick table, chairs, fire-pit (fire wood available on site) and hammock! Sport fishing, no licance requirded on site, (barb-less hooks) .Being a scenic, relatively undeveloped, no red light, mountain 25 min. drive into downtown Gatlinburg makes this a ideal location to enjoy the mountins in it`s natural form & close enoughg to enjoy activites in town. We have the Cosby Campground/Trail-head Entrance and the Foothills Parkway into the park just 3 miles and the Greenbrier and Big Creek (Whitewater Rafting) Entrances just 20 min. away! One of the best locations to access the park, getting out of the brick & morter. Lovely, quiet and secluded setting. The cabin was clean, comfortable and cozy, but somewhat outdated decor. We loved the creekside location and sitting on the back porch to drink tea and listen to the water.

We loved everything about this wonderful place. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Having the stream right off the back porch was great. Very relaxing. Sitting on the back porch with the forest right there was definitely being one with nature. We will definitely come back for another visit.

This cabin is such nice place to stay, removed from the hustle and bustle. The sound of the creek flowing is very pleasant and being surrounded by nothing but tall green trees was lovely! Will stay again!

Cabin was perfect for getting away for a week to write my book. Left bedroom window open at night to listen to the creek which has great sound. Loud enough day and night, but not overbearing. Just peaceful. A small hike to creek on foot but nice getaway.

Really great location. The view from the balcony is a fantastic stress buster! Very private area to walk around in. We saw a piliated woodpecker and bunnies!

We are return guests of Ms. Iva's. We love the comfort of her cottages and the quiet of Cosby. Every time we come, we feel right at home.
